FAQs

What kind of wax is used in the glass candles?

We use a custom blend of 100% natural beeswax coconut creme wax that is specifically formulated for candles. It is renewable, ethically sourced, biodegradable, and non-toxic. No paraben. No phthalate, No synthetic fragrance additives, or scent boosters. Ever!

With proper candle care your candle will burn longer and cleaner with 95% less soot than paraffin and soy candles, producing less smoke, less soot and is non-toxic for you and your family!

Why isn't the wax poured to the very top of the container?

This is a very important safety feature. Keeping the flame inside the vessel is a safety precaution that helps to reduce the risk of fires. By not pouring the wax to the top of the vessel the flame stays on the inside of the container.

How do I trim wood wicks?

Carefully! Invest in a quality pair of wick trimmers or scissors that will cut and remove the charred tip of the wick cleanly and evenly. Gently trim the candle wick to 1/4 inch prior to each burn. This is very important in preventing the candle from producing very high flames, black smoke, and soot.

My candle flame is burning high and I see black smoke. What should I do?

This is an indication that your candle wick needs to be trimmed. Do not blow out. Extinguish flame using a quality wick snuffer. Allow candle to cool and harden, then gently trim the candle wick to 1/4 inch. Relight. Enjoy!

I accidentally trimmed the wood wick too short and now my candle won’t light. What should I do?

If your candle is not lighting at all, scrape off some of the wax until your wick is 1/4in height. To avoid tunneling, be sure to scrape evenly across the full surface of the vessel. Relight. Discard spent wax or place in a wax warmer for later use.

Is my candle jar reusable?

Yes, it is! Don't throw away that beautiful vessel, give it a second life. Use to hold make up brushes, or powder room accessories. Use as a flower vase, a planter pot, a jewelry keepsake, and so much more!

Is the room spray safe for my skin?

Yes, it is. Although our Air & Linen spray is designed and intended to be used as a room spray, it is indeed safe for those who do not have sensitive skin. Instead of spraying directly on skin, our recommendation is to freshen up your linen and/or clothing with our premium Air & Linen spray prior to wear or use.

All of our scented products strictly follow the IFRA certified fragrance guidelines and are carefully selected and handcrafted to be safe for you and your loved ones. If it's not an IFRA certified fragrance, we don't use it!
